Laurel Cottage- Peacefully situated in Windermere, overlooking Queens Park, this guest house is a short stroll from the amenities in the village and about 20 minutes' walk from the Lake and Bowness. Laurel Cottage is convenient for Windermere rail and bus station and is an ideal base from which to explore the Lake District. The guest house is set within a small Victorian house built of local stone in the 1890s. It has been modernised to offer up-to-date comforts, but has retained its original character. Laurel Cottage is run by the owners Alison and Wayne, who offer a warm and friendly welcome.

The Langford Inn- Adjacent to The Langford Inn are en suite bedrooms housed in 2 converted 17th-century barns with exposed beams, original brickwork, oak floors and luxuries for modern living. Each room has a flat-screen TV with DVDs, a free Wi-Fi connection and tea/coffee. There are 3 suites, one with a twin Jacuzzi, and one with shower room able to accommodate disabled guests.

The Old Courthouse- In the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, the Old Courthouse was originally built in 1843 and is one of the oldest and most charming buildings in the village. In the centre of this lovely Lakeland village, The Old Courthouse is only a 5-minute stroll from Bowness Bay on the shores of Lake Windermere. Close to all of the villages restaurants, bars, shops and the cinema, the Old Court House is a wonderful base from which to explore the spectacular natural beauty of the Lake District National Park. Each tastefully decorated room is bright, fresh and clean, with a full en suite shower room. All rooms have TVs, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and radio alarms. Free wireless broadband internet access is available in most rooms. Private parking is available for guests and there is a full English breakfast with a choice of fruit and cereals to start your day. Vegetarians and those with special dietary needs can be accommodated.

Thorpe Lodge Hotel- The Thorpe Lodge Hotel has become a relaxing, well-appointed sanctuary for business and leisure travellers. The hotel is situated in the heart of Peterborough city centre and has an on-site restaurant and bar. The building dates back to around 1890 and is situated near to the station and within a few minutes of the leisure and shopping amenities. The owners take pride in giving friendly and efficient service to all guests and are always available to provide local information. All of our comfortable rooms are en-suite and have a TV, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers. For our business guests, we have a conference room with a range of visual aids seating up to 40 delegates. We also have t an on-site restaurant called the Meadows, which seats up to 40.

The Wheeldale- Located on the western cliff of Whitby, with a premier sea view, this award-winning accommodation offers a freshly cooked breakfast and a self-service bar. The Wheeldale was the winner of the Accommodation of the Year award at the Whitby Hospitality Association awards in November 2008. Most of the rooms are large and modern with an en suite, and a few smaller rooms are available. Four rooms have a stunning sea view, and the whole of the hotel is non-smoking. Crossing the road, you can walk straight down onto the beach for fresh sea air and brisk walks.

Embankment Hotel- The Embankment Hotel is in a beautiful location beside the River Ouse. Only a few minutes' walk from the town centre, this riverside setting overlooks quiet gardens and a Victorian bridge. The Embankment has a friendly pub and a dining area with a view of the Ouse. Food is served all day and drinks include real ales, wines and speciality coffees. On sunnier days you can sit outside with an afternoon cream tea. A short stroll from the Embankment Hotel is the Bedford Museum, and the award-winning Cecil Higgins Art Gallery. All bedrooms all en suite and have telephone and television. The Embankment Hotel was founded in 1891 by the Castle Brewery.

Luther King House- This college and conference venue is set in 2 acres of landscaped gardens in a tree-lined suburb just outside the city centre. The 45 'no frills' bedrooms all have a private shower or bath and toilet facilities. Every room has tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephones with internet access and a TV with Freeview channels. With a dining room, small bar, charming courtyard garden and free parking, Luther King House is a great value-for-money venue.

Brantfell House- Just a short stroll from Ambleside's village centre, this beautiful Victorian house has excellent breakfasts and 6 boutique-style rooms, many with views of the fells. Brantfell has a Visit Britain Silver Award and is personally run by the owners, Chris and Jane, who aim to offer a relaxing stay with personalised service. There is a welcoming lounge with a traditional log fire, and free access to the nearby Low Wood Leisure Club. Brantfell's surroundings are ideal for exploring the Lake District, and for country pursuits including rambling, climbing, cycling and water-sports.

Edgar Townhouse- Edgar Townhouse is a 10-minute walk from Bath town centre and the Roman Baths. It offers good, clean accommodation at an affordable rate. The Georgian town house, built around 1780, is a Grade I listed building on a prestigious street. All rooms have an en suite bathroom with shower (some with bath), and a warm, friendly welcome awaits you.

Cranmore- Close to all that Torquay has to offer, the Cranmore offers charming family-run guest accommodation with all the benefits of a small hotel, including free Wi-Fi and free parking. Snooze- Snooze Liverpool is located on a main arterial route into Liverpool City Centre, just 1.5 miles out. Most guests heading into the city centre take the bus or call a taxi. If you don't feel like facing the city centre rush you could head to a nearby bar or restaurant of our recommendation. The nearby centres of Lark Lane and Allerton Road are completely unique and a lot of the restaurants are just as good if not better than the city centre.

Arden Way Guesthouse- Arden Way is a family run Guest House, offering a hearty breakfast and being just a 5 minutes walk from the theatres. All but a single room (which has private facilities) are en-suite and we have ample car-parking for our guests. Arden Way Guest House has 6 letting rooms, all tastefully decorated. Pound Court Riverside Bed and Breakfast- Set right beside the Harbourne River, this B&B is located amid the hills of the beautiful South Hams and is close to the coast and wonderful beaches. The river runs down the side of the building, so you can fish for trout from Pound Court's private deck. The building is over 200 years old and retains many of its original features. The historic town of Totnes is 3 miles away (4.8 km) and the B&B is about 10 miles (16 km) from Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Dartmoor and Torbay.

Chase Lodge Hotel- In a quiet residential area, close to the centre of Kingston upon Thames and Hampton Wick Railway Station, this small hotel is rich in character with free Wi-Fi and free overnight parking.
