Originally built in the 17th century, the Wheatsheaf Inn boasts charming original features and sensitively refurbished accommodation. There are just 2 rooms, both of which have been carefully refurbished in a traditional style. In some parts of the accommodation, 17th century oak floors have been revealed and delicately restored. The original timbers and beams are still in place and remain a traditional feature of the inn. The pub area also still features huge beams from the building's original timber frame, as well as low ceilings, real open fireplaces and traditional furniture. The inn is situated on the main road running through the village from north to south.The M54 motorway is within easy reach and the town's railway station is within easy walking distance.
