Dairy Guest House- The Dairy is a lovingly restored and upgraded Victorian town house, keeping its 19th-century character and original features. In central York, Dairy Guest House is less than 300 metres (300 yards) south of the medieval city walls. It is an easy stroll from York's many attractions and museums. Each individually styled room has a TV with DVD, hot-drink facilities, mineral water, hairdryer and alarm clock. You will also find toiletries and information folders. Some rooms have ceiling fans. Dairy Guest House was originally a family home and joinery business, built in 1890. It then became a dairy for many years, until being turned into a guest house in 1978.

Elizabeth Hotel- The Elizabeth Hotel is friendly and privately owned, with English character and charm, within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. Bank House Coldstream- With fabulous views of the River Tweed, this accommodation close to the English/Scottish border is 45 minutes from the Edinburgh bypass. With a great location for visiting Edinburgh or the Borders, Bank House is 15 minutes from the train station and is close to bus routes. Some rooms have facilities suitable for longer stays for families or couples.

Family run set in half-acre garden. Long term car park available on the premises per day. We have a free phone courtesy pick up point at the airport, available from 9:00am - 11:00pm, which runs every 30 minutes on the hour & half hour when requested. A taxi is GBP 5.00 outside of these hours. Horley Town Centre is a five minute walk away and offers Indian, Italian, Spanish & Chinese food, pizza, fish & chips and four pubs. Evening meals are not provided, but guests are invited to use our Conservatory dining room for take-aways. Unfortunately, the guest house does not have a lift.
