Privately owned and run, the Baron has received a 4-star guest accommodation rating from VisitBritain, the tourist board of the United Kingdom. All of the rooms are tastefully decorated, with coordinated furnishings and flat-screen TVs with Freeview digital channels, radio, and CD/DVD players. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities and comes with complimentary mineral water and toiletries. Six of the rooms have spectacular sea views and ground-floor rooms for elderly or disabled guests and wheelchair users are available. A full traditional cooked English breakfast is included in the price and is made using locally sourced produce. The Baron has a great location, right on the seafront, only a few minutes' walk along the promenade from the North Pier, Blackpool Tower and all of the town's shops and theatres.
