Best Western Abbey Hotel - The Best Western Abbey Hotel is ideally located for guests to enjoy all the quintessential English uniqueness of Bath. Situated in the heart of Bath, close to the Abbey, Roman Baths, shops and theatre. Originally built as a wealthy merchants' house in the 1740's, the Abbey Hotel re-opened in 1990 following a full refurbishment, which included returning the front of the hotel to its original splendour. The current owners, two very experienced hoteliers and restaurateurs acquired The Old Mill in April 1998. Since then they have completed an extensive refurbishment programme, resulting in all bedrooms, banqueting rooms and the restaurant and bar, being totally redecorated and refurbished.
