Rhinefield House Hotel - In the heart of the New Forest, this grand country house originally built in 1887 is a blend of Tudor and Gothic styles, and offers more than a little luxury. Ideally located close to Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and all the New Forest has to offer, the hotel is only 20 miles from Southampton and Bournemouth. Once the site of a keepers lodge, Rhinefield House was built with a 'no expense spared' approach. It is fitted with chandeliers, intricate carvings and unique touches, but has retained a homely, easy-going feel. On a crisp winter day you can warm your feet by an open fire. Or, when the sun is shining, step outside and enjoy a drink on the terrace - a popular venue for barbecues and open-air jazz events. Alternatively, relax in the lounge and enjoy a signature afternoon tea.

Burley Manor Hotel - The Burley Manor Hotel is the jewel in the crown of the New Forest. Located in the picturesque village of Burley, in the New Forest. Part of the Forestdale Hotel Group, Burley Manor Hotel is located in the beautiful New Forest. Throughout its long history, the hotel has enjoyed many regal connections. Parts of the estate were probably laid out in Saxon times and must have existed before the Doomsday Book was compiled in 1086. Later, for nearly 200 years, Burley was a Royal Manor. The current building was erected in 1852, but it was a further 80 years before the house became a hotel, when a restaurant and bedroom wing were added. During World War Two, the hotel was requisitioned and used as a military headquarters by Lord Montgomery and his chiefs of staff. Over the past 25 years the baronial-style hotel has been continually upgraded and refurbished, the most recent additions being a brand new wing of luxurious premier rooms and a conservatory extension to the restaurant. Burley has 38 spacious and elegant en-suite bedrooms, including some with four-poster beds. The hotel has a relaxing ambience with modern comfortable amenities and several leisure activities. The large lounge is packed with antiques - such as a box where gentlemen can deposit their swords before dining - and is warmed by a blazing log fire. Grand bay windows overlook the stunning scenery - a magnificent old cedar tree alongside the croquet lawn; outdoor swimming pool, heated in the summer; and a paddock where a herd of New Forest deer graze. The delightful restaurant, with its superb fireplace and views over the landscaped gardens, serves a variety of traditional cuisine and is extremely popular locally. The Victorian-style conservatory adjoining the restaurant gives the impression guests are dining alfresco. Burley Manor has its own stables with horses suitable for novices to the more experienced riders. The Hotel has self-contained meeting facilities, the largest seating up to a maximum of 60 delegates. Nearby Attractions: Sightseeing/Tours, Shopping, Night club, Horseback riding, Hiking, Swimming pool, Museums, Gardens and Parks, Water Amusement Park, Ocean Aquarium, Zoo, Owl Sanctuary.
