The villa was built in 1890 and is bursting with historic features including stained glass, architectural mouldings and beautiful wood panelling. Suddaby's Crown Hotel - BandB - This eight bedroom old coaching inn providing bed & breakfast accommodation, has been run by the Suddaby family since 1871. A small friendly bed & breakfast with very long-standing horse racing and brewing connections. Seven real ales are always available in the main bar, which has a welcoming fire and good conversation. The pub has been included in the Good Beer Guide for over 21 consecutive years and we have also been voted Camra'a Rural Pub of the Year for seven out of the past eight years. We opened Malt'on hops, our specialist bottled beer and wine shop in 2005 to showcase to our own award-winning beers and many more micro-breweries' beers. Our wine is top quality and the range increases on an ongoing basis.

The White Swan Hotel - The White Swan is now Middlham's finest hotel, in a prominent position overlooking the market square. Dalescroft - Originally built in 1908 for managers of the nearby Rowntree's chocolate factory, the centrally located, friendly Dalescroft has a 3-star rating from the AA. Dalescroft offers bed and breakfast accommodation, each morning serving a full English breakfast in a charming building. Within walking distance of York's historic city centre, Dalescroft is located in the quiet Bishopthorpe Road area of York, just 400 yards (360 metres) from the medieval city walls. Park you car for free and take a pleasant 10-minute stroll along the river into the city. Dalescroft's quiet, but convenient location means that the railway station, racecourse and all of the York's amenities are within walking distance.

Alvera Court - Colin and Brenda Grant offer a warm Scottish welcome to holiday visitors and conference delegates to our attractive, friendly and comfortable totally non-smoking home. We are small, privately owned and run by ourselves, offering twelve individually decorated bedrooms. Visit Britain Four Star guest accomodation, centrally located opposite the International Conference Centre, with a short stroll to the town centre, the bus and train stations. We are a town house with stairs to all levels. Sorry we do not have a ground floor bedroom. We have our own private car park next to the hotel, and look forward to offering you the facilities you expect, but with a homely and friendly atmosphere. Access at all times once checked in. We do not serve dinner now as there are more than seventy restaurants a five minute walk from us into town. There is a trouser press, iron and ironing board available.

Queens Head - This delightful country inn with panoramic views is well located for the Dales and for visitors to Catterick Garrison. Queen's Head is set between Bedale and Leyburn in Lower Wensleydale. It has a 17th-century interior with stone walls, original beams and a new restaurant. The rooms sit independently, behind the inn.
