From the rear hallway steep-ish stairs (with handrail) lead to the first floor. Here you will find two bedrooms, a king-size and double, and a family bathroom. Outside, a small landscaped south facing cottage garden is a lovely place to sit and relax on a sunny day.
Located on a quiet village road, where roadside parking is easily found, this pretty cottage is ideal if you are looking for a relaxing rural break, and will suit a couple or two, as well as a small family. Helhoughton is a delightful village surrounded by beautiful countryside, just south west of the market town of Fakenham, and about twenty minutes from the coastal resort of Wells-next-the-Sea. It is a great base for exploring this beautiful area of North Norfolk, perfect for walking and cycling, as well as visiting local attractions - Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, Sculthorpe Hawk and Owl Trust, Houghton Hall, The Thursford Collection and Christmas Spectacular - and enjoying a day at nearby Fakenham Races! Although there is no pub in the village, there is a popular gastro pub at East Rudham which is a seven minute drive away. If you like to walk it's about 3.5 miles, and you can stroll back afterwards and feel rather virtuous!
