| I’ve just had a fantastic few days in this Lodge. The Lodge itself was luxurious and elegant whilst retaining a homely feel. It was well kitted out and we wanted for nothing. Being winter I was concerned that I might not be warm enough, but needn’t have worried as the heating is incredibly efficient. The Lodge we stayed in backs onto a wood with a stream which the large decked balcony at the back overlooks. It’s so incredibly peaceful. The Lodge’s outdoor hot tub was amazing – what an experience to sit in it at night, in winter looking up at the stars. We didn’t get the chance to use the Old Mill bar/restaurant but it looked inviting and the opening hours were very good, even at this time quiet of year.
You'll need to bring a torch and the only mobile phone reception is at the main gate but this only adds to the sense of peace!
I would thoroughly recommend Stonerush Lakes and in particular this Lodge, for a tranquil getaway with a touch of luxury.

| What a fantastic find, very clean and tidy, superb accommodation, and the perfect setting away from our busy life. We didn't fish but the lake was stuffed with carp so much so I was feeding them out of my hand (try it)! The icing on the cake was the hot tub, we were in it morning, noon and night (very private). We were greeted by Annie on arivial who was a wonderful lady. All in all a great break from the norm, and I will be back soon I can asure you! |

| Visited this site during new year and had a fantastic time. Accommodation is top quality and enjoyed excellent fishing on the lakes. Problems with access on this site due to steep tracks and unfinished road surfaces caused us and others to get stuck and require towing. |
