Lightwater Valley Theme Park, Forbidden Corner (a garden of surprises), Leyburn and Fountains Abbey, and Ripon, with its dominating cathedral are all within ten miles. The elegant Spa town of Harrogate is 20 miles and the historic city of York is 35 miles. Golf, cycle hire, riding, fishing, sailing ; 3 miles. Pub one and a half miles, shops three miles.
