Local Area
Wild and rugged round Hartland Point, then stretching out into wide, surf-washed sandy bays - explore one of the world’s loveliest coastlines when you stay at Hoseasons holiday parks in North Devon. Surfers and sailors flock to Woolacombe, Saunton, Croyde and Ilfracombe, and windsurfing, water skiing, canoeing and diving are all popular on this coast too, while walkers are attracted to the spectacular views along the coastal path. It’s also a working coast, and fishermen still bring their catches into harbours at Bideford and the enchanting villages of Appledore and Clovelly, whose whitewashed cottages seem to tumble down steep cobbled lanes to ancient quaysides. And when planning holidays in North Devon, don’t miss a chance to take a boat trip to Lundy Island, a beautiful haven for wildlife.

It was a good park and located very close to the beach. It is ideal for families and people looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The town was within walking distance and it was very frendly with nice shops and snack bars. |

This was our visit to Devon but it will not be our last. We found and booked our holiday on line, it was so easy to do and the location, site and facilities matched the description given. One of the main advantages for us was the excellent public transport as we do not drive. It was impossible to see all the varied attractions which are easily accessed using the local bus services, there just wasn't enough time during our two weeks to see them all. There is something to suit all ages and we even ventured into Cornwall during our stay. You didn't have to travel if you just wanted a relaxing day, the scenery around Westward Ho is magnificent and the beach is only a short walk from the park. There is plenty of things for all ages and good eating out venues as well as a good variety of shops in Westward Ho. I would recommend this park and location to anyone and would rate it as first class. We will definitely be making a return journey and hope to be accompanied by several family members who want to share the experience with us. |

We decided to choose Surf Bay Holiday Park because it looked peaceful, and it was everything we thought it was. Having two sons, one with autsism, it was perfect for us as it was a small, friendly park. The beach was a walk away and the members of staff we spoke to were very helpful and made us feel welcome. We plan to go back again and again - thank you! |

It was a lovely clean family site where I felt the younger ones in our party were safe when out on their own and also the nearness to the beach with all the surfing gear was ideal. It's a lovely part of the country and we had a great time. |

For a quiet holiday without any entertainment I would recommend this holiday park. Also the caravan was clean, comfy and just a short distance to the sea. |
