    Local Area

A winning combination of relaxed beach life, a lively sense of history, unspoilt countryside and sophisticated city pleasures - at our holiday parks in East Sussex you can enjoy them all. You’ll discover wonderful, family friendly beaches when you choose Hoseasons caravan holidays: the East Sussex coastline offers miles of golden sands at Camber and Winchelsea, and the seaside resorts of Eastbourne and Hastings boast plenty of traditional entertainments. Be sure to visit Hastings’ seaworld aquarium and the Smugglers’ Adventure in St Clements Caves. The ancient Cinque Port town of Rye boasts narrow, cobbled streets, full of charm, while, in complete contrast, funky, fashionable Brighton is a favourite haunt of artists, offering all you could want by way of lively cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs. While you’re never far from the coast, there’s plenty to enjoy inland too. Medieval Bodiam Castle, its fairytale ramparts rising from the gleaming waters of the moat, offers all the romance of history, and the locations of our holiday parks in East Sussex also make it easy to visit 1066 Country or enjoy a nostalgic steam train trip on the famous Bluebell Railway line.

Would recommend this park for mature couples wanting a quiet night and to use as a base for visiting attractions along the south coast.

I go on holiday to Florida every year and only went to Brighton to visit my daughter, but loved the people, the place, everything about it.

We have just spent a few days down in Sussex staying at Sunnyside Caravan Park in Seaford. We arrived at the park and were pleasantly surprised. We have had a wonderful 5 days in a caravan, and although it was the basic one it seemed brand new and was most comfortable. The park was very quiet which is how we like it, and was so close to all amenities. We will definitely go again next year, and we are just so sad that we hadn't booked to stay a little longer. We also had pretty good weather which was a bonus.

Great place to stay if you want peace and quiet, very nice view over Seaford Bay, and the little town of Seaford is only a short walk along the prom. You can also very easily get to Brighton or Eastbourne via the nearby train station at Bishopstone. If you enjoy walking you are not far from the Seven Sisters Country Park where you can have a walk along the river Cookmear. Or if you are fit, a walk over Seaford Head to Hope Gap where you can explore the rock pools.

It's a peaceful place, quiet yet full of wonderful sights, especially the walk up the cliff at the end of the seafront, amazing you can't put a price on such beauty. Perfect.

We had a lovely short break at the Sunnyside Caravan site. The couple who owned the place were so helpful and amenable. The site was beautifully kept and so convenient for the satation, seafront and town. I will be booking again soon and recommending Sunnyside to others.
